All rooms at The Beaconlight are non-smoking and have either a king, queen or full bed, private bath with Provincetown Soapworks bathroom products and hairdryer, linen bath robes, AC and ceiling fan, TV/VCR on cable, CD radio, telephone with voicemail and refrigerator. Our suites also have fireplaces.

 

Cape Ann Fireplace Suite This exceptionally romantic and spacious air-conditioned king bedded suite with polished oak floor is part of the original house dating from 1860. It is situated on the first floor, has its own private entrance, and is decorated with buttercup yellow walls and vibrant English print damask drapes. This suite also features a small kitchen area with microwave, dishes, refrigerator and European coffee brewing system by Senseo. Near the writing desk you’ll find TV/VCR, and a CD player. Near the bed you’ll find a private phone with voicemail. The canopied king bed with its mountain of pillows, directly faces the real log fireplace. During the day, the sitting area with its queen sofa bed and antique arm chair and desk provides the right intimacy for writing postcards, relaxing with a good book or enjoying an early evening cocktail. Beaconlight Fireplace Suite This very private, peaceful and romantic suite is approached by its own staircase and occupies the entire third floor. It consists of three rooms. The main room is a large air conditioned queen bedroom/sitting room combination, elegantly decorated in tones of beige and blue. The Queen Size mahogany sleigh bed at one end of the room directly faces a large romantic gas fire with a floral full size sofa, coffee table, hand made rugs, desk, CD player, and TV/VCR. Linking this room to the bathroom is a separate dining area featuring an Antique Oak table and chairs, Microwave, refrigerator, and European coffee brewing system by Senseo. The private bathroom features a large tub/shower combination with double vanity sink and is appointed with a wide selection of hand crafted bathroom products made exclusively by Provincetown Soap Works.

 

Chatham Room This very popular air-conditioned room with private bathroom is situated on the second floor. A small flight of stairs leads you down to a beautiful conservatory style room with vaulted ceiling, decorated in rich tones of burgundy and gold. The room is accented with a mahogany high boy and two side chairs and comes with a canopied Queen Size bed. Windows on three sides provide ample morning sunshine and balmy cross breezes during the summer. Race Point Room This quiet air-conditioned queen bedded room with private bath is situated on the first floor at the rear of the house. It has a distinct air of a gentlemen’s club from a bygone era. Decorated in rich tones of gold and red and accented with dark mahogany furniture, a pair of silk damask arm chairs, hand made rugs, and antique period collectables completes the feel. Nauset Room Located on the second floor at the rear of the house, this bright and airy room is decorated in rich tones of yellow.
