* From whichever direction you come from off Cape, follow the signs for CAPE COD & PROVINCETOWN.

* Cross the Cape Cod Canal at either the Bourne or Sagamore Bridge and take Route 6 heading EAST toward Provincetown.

* After crossing the canal, the journey to Provincetown will take approx. 1 hour 15 minutes.

* After you enter the Provincetown limits, take the 3rd LEFT EXIT at the flashing amber light signed SHANK PAINTER ROAD. This exit is the one after the large traffic light intersection.

And to get to THE BEACONLIGHT...
* At the end of Shank Painter Road, take a LEFT on to BRADFORD ST. and then 1st RIGHT onto WINTHROP STREET.

* The Beaconlight is the second guesthouse on the right. The entrance to the parking lot is between the two large trees directly in front of the guesthouse.

Bay State Cruise Company operates from the World Trade Center in Boston. The regular service takes about three hours and the high-speed ferry just under two hours. Call (617) 748 1428.

There are regular services from Boston, New York, Providence and Hyannis. The bus terminal in Provincetown is in the center of town by the Chamber of Commerce building.
